Joop van Egmond (MOND) left many still lifes. This still life with apples was made with the medium pastel in the eighties, but later updated and signed. The artist often did that updating or 'improving' during his career. It stemmed from discontent and a constant drive for perfection in style and form. The artwork you see comes with a white frame and is protected with glass.
