This is a common spring scene in the Duin-en Bollenstreek, The Netherlands. The beautiful tulips are cut, because the farmer is more interested in the bulb. Often to the dismay of tourists who visit the region. In this color woodcut, the wood grain comes to the fore very clearly, which gives the work extra cachet. This artwork comes with an aluminum frame and is protected with glass.
