  • Jisp is a village in the municipality of Wormerland in the Dutch Province of Noord-Holland. Centuries ago, Jisp was an important place for whaling. Jisp has 1120 inhabitants (2007) and is located in the nature reserve Wormer- and Jisperveld on the road from Neck to Wormer. The road and neighborhood The Weiver connects Jisp with the village of Wormer. Until 1991, Jisp was an independent municipality. This artwork comes with a BARTH 1828 aluminum frame and is protected with anti-reflective glass. Disclaimer: Photographing water colors is very difficult. It looks like the paper is extremely bumpy, but in reality it is barely visible to the naked eye.
