Jukwerd (Gronings: Jukkerd) is a small mound village in the municipality of Appingedam in the Dutch Province of Groningen. It is located about one kilometer north of Appingedam, between two maars: the Kleine and the Groote Heekt. The old church of Jukwerd is located on the mound. This hall church with open-worked roof rider was built in 1866 as a successor to the dilapidated late medieval church from 1435. This artwork comes with a beautiful natural frame. It is painted in acrylic on hardboard and is protected with anti-reflective glass.
