Groote Gat, near Oostburg
A large creek, lined by reed beds and wet grassland. Also a cultural-historical gem: the fortifications of the States and Spanish from the Eighty Years' War are still visible. The Groote Gat consists of a water feature, with brackish water, with wide reed seams. The adjacent grassland is rich in relief. Thickets, hedges and pollard trees give the area a varied character. This artwork comes with a BARTH 1828 aluminum frame and is protected with glass. Disclaimer: Photographing water colors is very difficult. It looks like the paper is extremely bumpy, but in reality it is barely visible to the naked eye.
