Frisian Mudflats near Firdgum, The Netherlands
Firdgum (Frisian: Furdgum) is a village in the municipality of Waadhoeke, in the Dutch Province of Friesland. It is located near the Wadden Sea, northwest of Minnertsga and northeast of Tzummarum. The N393 runs along the village area and the Grote Kolk flows through the village area. The village has a small village center. This is a preliminary study for a larger canvas. The artwork comes with a beautiful natural frame. It is painted in acrylic on hardboard and is protected with anti-reflective glass.
