Province of Drenthe, The Netherlands
Drenthe is a province in the Netherlands, located in the northeast of the country. The name Drenthe probably originated from the Latin numeral three (Threant) from the Lex Salica, a code from which the region of Twente (Tuihanti) also takes its name. The number three refers to the three things that originally existed in Drenthe, although six are known from later times. The first known mention of Drenthe was found in the certificate of Theodgrim, a certificate from the year 820 AD, which speaks of the pago Threant, the shire of Drenthe. This artwork comes with a robust aluminum BARTH 1125 frame (color brown) and is protected with anti-reflective glass.
