Baruch Spinoza (Amsterdam, November 24, 1632 - The Hague, February 21, 1677) was a Dutch philosopher, mathematician, political thinker and lens sharpener from the early Enlightenment. For some time he lived in Rijnsburg on what is now the Spinozalaan. Today, a museum is housed in the authentic house from the seventeenth century. Joop van Egmond (MOND) had a lifelong fascination for this philosopher and read his work regularly. This artwork comes with an aluminum BARTH 1125 frame (color gray) and is protected with anti-reflective glass.
